NobleSix Presentation Targets Operational Security in Deterring Workplace Violence in NDASA Presentation
Keynote Presentation Focuses on Recognizing Workplace Substance Abuse Before it Leads to Tragedy
Milwaukee, WI - April 19, 2022 - NobleSix, the go-to workplace safety & strategy solution provider for organizations seeking to better safeguard their physical locations and personnel, is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming North American Drug & Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA) conference, taking place May 4-6 in Indianapolis, IN. Noble’s Senior Safety Consultant, Dan Hanlon will be giving a presentation on May 5th.
“It’s an honor to speak at NDASA,” said Hanlon. “What I really want to get across to the audience is the exact same message we (NobleSix) provide to organizations across the nation, and that’s the presence of an almost 1:1 tie-in between workplace violence and the use of drugs. Nearly every major workplace shooting incident in our country has a direct link to the perpetrator’s use of drugs. An individual’s mental health status is also directly related, but again, it’s the use of drugs that compounds any mental health issues that may already exist. NDASA and its affiliate members’ screening protocols are the first line of defense against workplace violence while also being a point of intervention to prevent the act of violence. Combining screening with additional knowledge, planning and operational security (OPSEC) training is what provides NobleSix with the ability to make a tremendous difference for any organization.”
Founded in 2018, NDASA (www.ndasa.com) is the voice of the nation’s drug and alcohol screening industry. Its diverse membership includes testing companies, employers, laboratories, third-party administrators, human resource managers, safety professionals, substance abuse counselors and others. NDASA’s focus is to maintain drug-free workplaces and to protect public safety. It is both member-operated and owned.
